Hello, My name is Laurie and I am a very small scale breeder located in New York's Hudson Valley (Hopewell Junction / LaGrangeville / Poughquag / Poughkeepsie areas in Dutchess County, New York).  I got my very first trio of gliders from Craigslist in September of 2010.  There were 2 females and 1 male.  Their names were Bugaboo, Momma & Rascal.  Momma actually had a joey come OOP (Out Of Pouch) when I got her!  Momma & Rascal were parents to a little boy I named Biscuit.  Rascal & Biscuit were neutered to prevent any further pregnancies or inbreeding.  The previous owner had male names for all 3 gliders and was not aware that 2 of them were indeed females!  These guys were pocket pets and had several health problems.  I provided the best vet care I could.  Within 2 years, Bugaboo, Momma & Rascal had all sadly passed away. 

Biscuit is still with us today and is alive & well.  He has 2 wonderful cagemates named Toby & Topanga (who are brother & sister)!    I encourage everyone to think about rescuing first.  But when purchasing, I hope you will do your research and not support Mill Brokers/Breeders.  No glider chooses to have genetic defects and health issues.  Nature & People choose that for them.   Although we may not be able to stop people from doing this, we can be a part in NOT supporting it.

I currently have 1 breeding pair (Thor & Akiah) and The 3 Amigos (Biscuit, Toby & Topanga).  On October 19th, 2013 I adopted a wonderful Pit Bull Mix, Lexi, from the Humane Society. 

My gliders are always pets first.  I love and care for them dearly.  It is very important to me that people be well educated about these awesome pets.  If you are looking into owning one of these lovely babies, please feel free to contact me and I will try to answer any questions you may have.
